Governor Issues Stay-at-Home Order

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine issued a stay-at-home order on Sunday to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It will go into effect on Monday, March 23 at 11:59 pm. All non-essential businesses should close at that time so their employees can stay home.

The Ohio Turfgrass Foundation, Ohio Lawn Care Association and the Ohio Sports Turf Managers Association has sought additional guidance as to whether lawn care, golf course maintenance, sports turf maintenance and sod farms can be considered essential businesses under the Governor’s stay-at-home executive order to stop the spread of COVID-19.
